Amazing to get such wonderful comments from our big family group staying in all the cottages at Tritchayne Farm Cottages last week. They said the kids made the most of the field and trampoline, didn’t even want to come in when it rained (not that it does that much in East Devon, promise!).

Early morning walk along Seaton esplanade and the coast is looking stunning. Seaton is the closest beach to Tritchayne Farm Cottages but Lyme Regis, Beer and Branscombe are also only 15 minutes or less.
There are so many nice cafés in Seaton and it’s only right that we sample them all for our guests at Tritchayne Farm Cottages! This time we visited The Hideaway at the western end of the esplanade. We took part in Cycle to Work Day although the cycle to Tritchayne Farm Cottages is hardly a chore!
Family adventure to our own deserted beach at Charton Bay, halfway between Seaton and Lyme Regis. The only beach accessible from this stretch of coastpath. Sarah kayaked there via the slabs for a look at these amazing fossils and Becs and Ruan hiked from Seaton for a picnic.
Reaping some rewards in the gardens at Tritchayne Farm Cottages this week. Plenty of runner beans and tomatoes to share with our guests and the apples, pears and plums aren’t far behind. Plus we’ve got sweet peas coming out of our ears! They look good but they smell even better.
