One more ride, please?

We love riding the Seaton Tramway! This time we walked along the River Coly from Colyton to Colyford and then hopped on the tram to Seaton. The views across the Seaton Wetlands are lovely, as was the deluxe hot chocolate in Pebbles! This is a must for any visit to Tritchayne Farm Cottages!

Roses return

The roses at Tritchayne Farm Cottages have had a second lease of life in September bringing some vibrant splashes of colour to the gardens. It’s a lovely time of year to visit.

Walk or paddle?

As well as exploring the East Devon coast on foot Sarah has been paddling her way around the cliffs from Budleigh Salterton to the Jacob’s Ladder beach in Sidmouth. It’s a gorgeous stretch of coast passing the stacks at Ladram Bay. Come and explore for yourself!

Clock Tower tea rooms

Another walk from Sidmouth last week in the magnificent September sunshine, this time to the beach at Salcombe Mouth. Plenty of time for a dip and a picnic and then onto the Clock Tower tea rooms in Connaught Gardens for copious cake!! Another beautiful place on the doorstep of Tritchayne Farm Cottages.

Another one for the list!

We continued our sampling of Seaton’s excellent cafes with a visit to Coast. A lovely spot to sit near the beach and some delicious food. We had the seafood bucket and the fish burger and much enjoyed them both. All part of the job!

September Seaton!

Sunny August bank holiday versus sunny September weekend! The weather is lovely, the sea is still getting warmer but the crowds are gone. Come and see for yourself with a stay at Tritchayne Farm Cottages.
