A group booking this week for a big family birthday celebration. Here is the glasshouse after its party and Halloween transformation. Tritchayne Farm Cottages are the perfect spot for a group getaway. We’re booking now for 2020, so get your stay booked!
Our walk this week was Lyme Regis to Charmouth and back to Lyme along the beach with a bit of fossil spotting along the way. Bit of a chilly picnic but never too cold for ice-cream and Baboo lived up to its reputation. Delicious!
Big batch of scones needed this week for our group booking and the glasshouse is looking lovely all ready for them!
The nights are drawing in but Seaton is still looking stunning at sunrise and sunset. Lots of availability and low season prices for November. Come and see for yourself!
Tritchayne Farm Cottages is a tranquil and relaxing spot but for those who want to be more active we have a library of walking and cycling books. Also new this week – check out our great collection of sports equipment to use on our play field or at the excellent public tennis courts in Colyton …
Continuing our bird spotting by the pond, it’s a friendly robin this week. Not so rare as the kingfisher but much more sociable!
We did a circular walk round Musbury Castle this week. It’s a very short drive from Tritchayne Farm Cottages and you get some spectacular views of the Axe Valley and out to sea. Be prepared for some steep climbs though but it’s worth the effort!
Sarah had a lovely time at Coastal Craft Collective in Seaton this week at their driftwood creations craft session. Loads of different crafts on offer and very reasonably priced. A good autumn/winter activity for guests at Tritchayne Farm Cottages but make sure you book as they’re very popular.
Some lovely October weather has encouraged us to keep up the Seaton sea swims. We attracted quite an audience of onlookers this time. I think they were just waiting for us to back out so I went in twice as quick as normal!
