Christmas day dip

We had Christmas dinner with family in Topsham but only after working up an appetite with the Seaton Christmas Day park run and a traditional Christmas Day dip. Couldn’t have asked for better weather.

A fabulous Christmas and New Years was had at Tritchayne Farm Cottages. We decorated the cottages and glasshouse and even the grounds. Countryside walking

Between the rain we’ve also managed a couple more local walks to Hawkchurch on the Devon/Dorset border and Sidbury just inland from Sidmouth. Check out the countryside views but watch out for the crazy tree lady! Both walks are a short drive from Tritchayne Farm Cottages.

Winter scones!

Thought cream teas were just for summer, think again! Scones are delicious all year round. Although we might have to switch to mince pies for the Christmas weeks!

The walk from Seaton to Branscombe via Beer is beautiful all year round. Check out these December snaps. Branscombe is just ten minutes by car from Tritchayne Farm Cottages.

And here are our cabbages, cauliflowers and sprouts in their new home, the herb garden at Tritchayne Farm Cottages. Better late than never! Fingers crossed they make it.
